Trilogy products
Ladies, winter is here so let’s take good care of our skin. Have you heard of one of Duchess of Cambridge best skin’s product called Trilogy?
Oils are the oldest products used for skin care, body, hair and of course face. I started using oil skin care products in my beauty routine about a year ago. I was a bit skeptical at the beginning especially that I have a mixed skin. I was then scared that it will leave face looking greasier and obstruct skin’s pores. But the benefits are truly recognized and I became a big fan. Be careful though to use the right oil for the right skin type!
I discovered the Trilogy product range when I read once an article about Kate Middleton and her beauty regime. She revealed to the US Weekly magazine that she was using the rosehip oil brand from New Zealand and this royal revelation made even the share price of the company jump!
What’s the story behind Trilogy? Two sisters, Sarah Gibbs and Catherine de Groot, originally from New Zealand founded Trilogy in 2002. Sarah was working in her natural products manufacturing when she discovered the amazing potential of their signature ingredient, the certified organic rosehip oil. Now they sell a bottle of Trilogy Rosehip Oil every 20 seconds.
What are the benefits? As explained in their website, this natural organic rosehip oil is “extracted from the seeds of wild rosehips (the fruit left behind after a rose has flowered and dropped its petals). The best one grow wild in the mountainous region of Chile in South American and Lesotho in Southern Africa” (because of the altitude and pollutant- free environment). “High quality rosehip oil is naturally rich in skin-loving nutrients which help improve overall skin condition- essential fatty acids (omega 3 and omega 6), fatty acids (omega 9) and beta-carotene (pro-Vitamin A) […] Naturally occurring in rosehip oil, these lipid compounds moisturise skin and improve softness and elasticity, assist skin cell renewal and repair and can help to restore skin suffering the effects of sun damage and lifestyle stresses.” (Dehydration and ageing skin).
How to use it? As indicated, only three drops on the face! I do personally use it at night on the face but also neck and décolleté. You don’t have this feeling of oily product at all at the skin absorbs it really rapidly. I wake up in the morning with a real soft, smooth and glowing face.
I also have the Eye Recovery Concentrate but to be honest I have not used it much yet. I should and I will because I can feel the skin cracking around the eyes, obvious sign of dehydration despite using other creams. Will tell you more about it.
